Wexford Development LLC d/b/a Renaissance Place

Beginning in 2005 and reaching occupancy in 2007, Wexford, LLC led Doug Mennen and Andy Gutwein developed Renaissance Place, a $25 Million Dollar mixed use development in Lafayette, Indiana.  Renaissance Place contains 18,500 square feet of retail space, a six story 140,000 square feet office building, 36 residential condominiums and a 310 space parking garage.  Wexford was awarded the Digby Award, an award for the real estate development having the most significant impact, in 2007 for the development of Renaissance Place.

Wexford involved BB&C intimately in the development Renaissance Place and to provide counsel in the following areas:

• Purchase the real estate for Renaissance Place
• Secure a tax abatement
• Structure and form (1) the Residential Owners Associations to care for the common area shared by the owners of the condominiums and (2) Office Owners Association to care for the common area shared by the owners of the office building
• Draft the Declaration of Condominiums for each the residential condominiums and office condominiums
